This was my first experience at a hostel and traveling solo! Flow definitely made my experience a lot better. I recommend this place to anyone--located in the city, affordable, environmentally conscious, comfortable vibe with a modern-like setup. The front desk was very friendly and helpful with presenting things to do around the city. Location is on the Pest side and a five minute walk to a bridge to the Buda side. Nothing bad I can say about this hostel or my experience... I really enjoyed it.
Absolutely fantastic experience. My 4 bed dorm room was perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable, lockers under the bad and also above the bed for small items. Separate power outlets and reading light for each bed and privacy curtains. The facilities were all very high standard! The is a more calm hostel, not a party hostel, but that is exactly what I wanted. I meet nice people anyway and went out with them. The bathrooms could be a bit cleaner this is understandably difficult in a hostel.
I arrived at around 10 pm, it was so difficult to find the entrance because it was so dark, I called to the staff and finally got in the building. The bed sheet was old, made me felt so itch. Except these problems, the staff was really nice, although there was only one person at the night, maybe is not enough because they need to do so many works. I met a girl was waiting outside, she couldn’t find the way to get in the building too and no one answered her phone:(
My friends and I stayed in a private 4 person room which was very spacious compared to a lot of other hostels we have stayed in. The shower was big, had hot water & good pressure. We arrived at the hostel at around 8 am after taking an overnight bus, hoping to leave our luggage and rest in a hang out room for a bit. After about an hour the staff informed us that our room was ready early and we could check in early which was such a great surprise. Would stay here again.
Loved this hostel - so clean, modern decor and chill vibe. Me & 2 friends booked a 4 bed mixed dorm and it was ideal. Location of this hostel is not directly in the middle of all the city’s buzz (we were walking between 15-25 mins to get to where we wanted to go) but is also ridiculously close to buses, trains and trams. Would absolutely recommend this place! :):)
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the curtain made it feel like we had our own space. It was very clean—with the exception of the bathroom. The dust, or whatever it was, on the floor was very visible and the showers felt unclean. However, that seemed out of character for the hostel which made it more bareable. Other than that it was a lovely hostel and I would recommend it for sure.
The hostel is situated nearby Donau and very very close to a street full with restaurants that serve delicious cheap food. The hostel is modern and clean and it is easy to meet other travelers. The staff was helpful and gave good recommendations.
I stayed here for a couple of nights from 11th to the 14th of July. Firstly, when you arrive the building looks like an old building however the moment you step into the hostel, it brightens up considerably (both literally & figuratively). The staff are extremely nice & friendly, and are readily at hand to offer any suggestion or tips for the city. Facilites wise,
the beds were really nice with the privacy curtain and individual light + a small box to stow your stuff as well as a larger container for you to store your luggage underneath your bed. There were individual power sockets as well & the bathrooms were clean and propre. Mine came with the private bathroom however having used the common one as well, the common bathroom is equally as clean and tidy. In addition, access to your room & the building is via a smart key card so its definitely safe as well! Not that Budapest is unsafe!
There's a nice lounge area for you to chill and laze about as well as a Kitchen if you wish to cook and/or have your meals there. Another thing that was a positive was that this is not a party hostel - so it wasn't super noisy! That being said, it's not a boring one either! There were always activities lined up, and even on those days when there weren't you could just head out as it is very centrally located! It's like 1 min walk from The Central market! I hugely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay and experience Budapest :)
Go with the Flow! :) Utterly amazing place to stay at. The hostel sits in close proximity to many main tourist attractions. It's brand new and clean, the stuff is super friendly and helpful. They organize many events in the kitchen area which makes it easier to engage with people and make friends.The ones I participated in were: Free Wine Tasting and Free Dinner :) Thanks for an amazing time guys! We loved everything about the Hostel :) Location, facilities, social activities, evening program and the opportunities to network and the most - staff, especially Flora and Edit, who can really catch the hostel vibes and make the great atmosphere. For sure we will come back :) (to see our international "colleagues") If there will be 10*, it deserves it for sure!
